American Honda Float entry. Height: 35 ft. Width: 18 ft. Length: 55 ft. The walls of the castle are created with a mix of fine ground white rice and everlasting, and the roofs of the turrets are covered with shiny silverleaf; the yellow decorative elements on the turrets are decorated with fine cut strawflower. The window panes in the turrets are small individual beans with window edges of sesame seed and panes of hot pink and purple statice. The carriage is "painted" with ground rice, strawflower and onion seed, with wheels of everlasting, with white China chrysanthemum centers and borders of white beans. The American Honda humanoid ASIMO has a body of nori seaweed, poppy seed, lettuce seed and fine ground white rice. The gardens surrounding the castle are covered with light orange, dark orange, lavender, light pink and hot pink roses and daisies. Floral arrangements accenting the float contain gladiolas, roses, bells of Ireland, tulips, daffodils and orchids. |
Wells Fargo Float Entry : Height - 13 ft. Width - 18 ft. Length: 25 ft. A graphic image of the 2011 parade. The poster features a dreamy aqua sky with the theme, "Building Dreams, Friendships & Memories" as the main feature in script. Red roses accent the letters.
The reproduction of the parade theme poster features accents of red carnation petals, green ti leaves, ground parsley flakes and fine ground white rice, bordered by trimmed chrysanthemums. The sculpted roses offer petals of fine cut light pink strawflower with ti leaf and fine ground parsley flake leaves.
