Right after the finale of American Idol, he almost started talking in a gay voice to the reporters but, on a second thought decided to just wait for his upcoming interview with Rolling Stone "The Gay

Cover" because he thinks it would be cooler. On his interview, he finally admitted that he is gay and revealed that he has been very comfortable with it and that he's been out a few years back upon moving to Los Angeles for the past 8 years. He's been gay for a long time already.

Adam's real name is Gaylord Adam Lambert. His family and friends call him gay. He's always wanted to be a Rock Star and dresses like a Rock Star. Playing dress up has always been a part of Adams life since he was a toddler growing up in San Diego California.

Adam first felt the power of his voice when he was a teenager. He loves singer, dancing and playing dress up. Because of his extraordinary talent, he was given the opportunity to play lead roles in musicals across San Diego.

In 2000, he was selected to sing on his Graduation at Mount Carmel High School in San Diego. He then realized how much he missed out a lot of things because he was still contained in his closet. He already graduated High School and still nobody knew about who he really is even his mom which kept him from experiencing his first date, his first love and his first kiss which should be happening in High School. He began to be more concerned about how much he was left out from the other kids in school.

One time when mother and son drove home after Adam's stage performance, his mother finally squeezed a chance to talk to Adam that led him to come out. Mom started the conversation saying :

• Mom : So, do you have a girlfriend?
• Adam : Nope!
• Mom : Do you want one?
• Adam : hmmm No!
• Mom : Well, do you wanna have a boyfriend?
• Adam : aaa...that could be nice!

All of a sudden Adam couldn't stop asking mom these questions :

• Adam : When did you know? How old was I? What were the things that you noticed?
• Mom : I've always known.
• Adam : Why didn't you ask me sooner?
• Mom : I don't wanna push you!

That was a very unforgettable moment for Adam and his mom. They laughed and talked until the wee hours of the morning. Coming out for the first time gave him a different kind of feeling he never felt before.
