Charice's Baptismal and Confirmation

Charmain Clarice Relucio Pempengco better known as Charice and her brother Mark received the sacrament of baptism and confirmation at the Immaculate Conception Cathedral in Pasig City Philippines.

Though Charice's mom is a solid catholic, she and her borther grew up following her father's religious affiliation. Now, the siblings finally decided to become a part of the Catholic Church.

This special event was covered by local and foreign press. Among the godparents were the wolrdwide Talk Show Icon and a great philanthropist Oprah winfrey, grammy award winning music legend David Foster, ABS-CBN president Charo Santos Concio, Broadcasters Karen Davila and Julius Babao, Entertainment hosts Boy Abunda and Kris Aquino, Media Personalities Jobert Socaldito and Ricky Lou and the PBB (Pinoy Big Brother) director direkLauren Djogi.

Although Oprah Winfrey and David foster couldn't grace the said event due to time constraint, charice is still thankful for accepting her invitation to become her godparents.

After the baptismal ceremony, Charice celebrated her 18th birthday with a mini concert and gift giving for over 500 kids.

While in the Philippines, Charice will keep herself busy with some outreach activities which she loves doing. She is scheduled to fly to Japan on Monday to promote her international debut album self-titled "Charice".
