Earthquake hit near NEAR THE EAST COAST OF HONSHU, JAPAN
with an initial 7.4 then downgraded to 7.1 Magnitude on Thursday, April 07, 2011 at 11:32:41 PM at epicenter.
After the biggest shake in Japan's northeast coast line with a magnitude of 9.4 (downgraded to 9.0) on March 11, 2011 which provoked the killer Tsunami, another strong tremblor was experienced in the east coast of Honshu Japan located close to the epicenter of the March 11 9.0 quake.
A tsunami alert was issued but was later lifted after 90 minutes. Japan authorities ordered a general evacuation and workers at the damaged Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant took shelter after an earthquake triggered a new tsunami warning.
There were no major damages reported .
