Smoking What?????

TMZ recently posted a video of Miley Cyrus sniffing..err...inhaling a...uhmm.... what on earth was that?

For some people who saw the video, they actually didn't realize that Miley was on a smoking session with friends. Some were like...what's in that bottle? Why did the other guy lit the other end of the tube Miley was popping in?

Well, the tube is actually called a "Bong". Did it ring a bell? Not for me. Billy Cyrus himself claimed he only saw this stuff for the first time.

Yup! Miley was cradling a "glass bong" on that video. Why? Because she was smoking you know?!

Anyway, don't get alarmed Miley lovers out there because she's not going to jail. Bong is said to be legal in California and there's no need to panic.

Bong - is a filtration device for smoking, generally used to smoke tobacco, cannabis or other substances. It functions similar to hookah but it is smaller and more portable.

Bong is an adaptation of the Thai word baunga, a cylindrical wooden tube, pipe, or container cut from bamboo used for smoking.

The cooling effect of the water helps to reduce the chance of burning the mouth, airways, and lungs thats why bong smokers claim that using a bong to smoke is safer.

This video was reportedly taken on Nov. 28, five days after Miley's 18th birthday, another video that could give another bump to her not so good reputation these days. She is Hanna Montana, admired and adored by millions of teenage boys and girls around the world. It is a not so good scenario for young fans to see her hitting a bong.
