Mubarak has been under pressure by the revolt and by leaders of others countries. On thursday, February 10, frustrations were felt by the people when Mubarak announced on television that he was handing "the functions of the president" to Vice-President Omar Suleiman which means he still retains his title as president.

Muhammad Hosni Sayyid Mubarak is now addressed as the former president of Egypt. He served the country of Egypt for 30 long years from 1981 - 2011.

Mubarak was born on May 4, 1928. He was appointed as Vice President of Egypt in 1975 and assumed the presidency on October 14, 1981 after the assassination of President Sadatand and in 2011 he was forced to step down from office by of People Power.

He was the longest serving ruler in Egypt. Before becoming Egypt's ruler, he served as a commanding officer in Egyptian Air Force from 1972 - 1975.

The demonstration to ouster his leadership started on January 25, 2011 and ended on February 11, 2011.

After Mubarak has been ripped off of his power, now he is facing corruption allegations. Different amounts of millions and billions has surfaced from different sources that he pocketed in his 30 years of power. It has been reported that his billions are scattered to different banks in different countries.

He and his family however was said to be living in a luxurious life with houses here and there, a fleet of jets and a vacation home on the Red Sea resort town of Sharm-el-Sheikh. His house in London is a multimillion-dollar townhouse located in London's Knightsbridge neighborhood and is registered in his son Gamal's name.

After successfully stripping off his presidential power, the world is keeping track and quite vigilant towards the large amount of wealth and fortune in his possession.

According to reports, Mubarak began accumulating his fortune while still in the Air Force under President Anwar Sadat.
