Today, August 29, 2010 is the 2010 62nd Primetime Emmys Awards held at the Nokia Theater L.A. Live in downtown Los Angeles. The event is exclusively aired by NBC television Network. This years Emmys is hosted by Jimmy Fallon.

Emmy Awards is a television production award, similar in nature to the Peabody Awards but more focused on entertainment, and is considered the television equivalent to the Academy Awards (for film), Grammy Awards (for music) and Tony Awards (for stage).
