Maria Aragon is a new Youtube Sensation from Winnippeg Canada and of Filipino descent. Her parents are Filipinos but she was born and raised in Canada. She rose into fame after Lady Gaga twitted a video of her singing the cover of her new song "Born This Way" on February 17, 2011. Born This Way is a new song by Lady Gaga which was recorded in 2010. It is the album's lead single and debuted on February 11, 2011 and will be officially released on May 23, 2011 by Interscope Records.

Obviously, Lady Gaga did check out Maria's video that Perez reportedly tweeted to her and this is what she has to say on her tweet on Feb. 17 :

Lady Gaga tweeted this to her 8,287,932 followers and the response was overwhelming. The video went viral. People were just clickin n' clickin' until the views reached to a million turning this young lady into a youtube sensation overnight. She was on the news and the topic of some radio stations in Canada and in the U.S. the next day. The view chart never stopped counting and in 2 days, the video recieved 3,544,326 views. That's awsome!
On Thursday, the day when Gaga's tweet came out, Aragon had her very first interview at Hot 103 FM Station during lunch hour. He was picked up at Isaac Brock School by host Ace Burpee. It was her very first limousine ride. In the studio, she was surrounded by local local media. She showcased her rendetion Bruno Mars hit song The Way You Are.
On Friday, Maria had an emotional conversation with Lady Gaga herself over the phone at the Winnipeg radio station Hot 103. She was surprised and overjoyed by that opportunity of having a real chat with her superstar idol. She just can't stop crying.
