Charice was invited to sing at the the 2010 Iconic Christmas Tree Lighting Event at the Rockefeller Center in New York City to help spread christmas joy around the world. She was among the selected high profile Hollywood entertainment personalities like David Foster, Mariah Carey, Josh Groban Susan Boyle and Jessica Simpson, Annie Lennox, Boys II Men Kylie Minogue, Shery Crow and more. Charice performed her version of the song Jingle Bell Rock with David Foster on the piano.
The event started at 7pm New York time and finished at 9pm. The location is between west 48th and 51st Streets and 5th & 6th avenues, Rockefeller Plaza Manhattan.
74 feet in height and 12 tons in weight, the star of the night "Norway Spruce" christmas tree was lit right after Jessica Simpson's performance. 30,000 multi-colored LED lights wrapped on 5 miles of wire to make the the christmas tree glow and shine.
