How important is sex education?

Sex education serves a very important part in people's lives especially to our young boys and girls. It is very important that these teenage males and females will be well aware of the consequences of not handling sex in the right time, right manner and right place.

There are a lot of important things to be considered about sex. Sex education will help our young generation in many ways in understanding about sex, sexuality and dealing about this. Parents are encouraged to answer their childrens querries about sex properly and responsibly in accordance to their level of exposure and maturity. Not dealing with their questions will not help them in coping with their curiousity but will sometimes jeopardize their future. It is their right to learn and be informed.

Aside from school, parents bear the greater amount of responsibilty in talking to their children and teaching them how to handle sex in a very responsible manner and guiding them on how to cope up with their sexual feelings and urges. It is the parent's biggest parenting responsibility to bridge a parent-child relationship to create a friendly-like intimate communication to their teenage kids.

Uninformed female teenagers tend to get pregnant in their immature age. It is an undeniable fact that a well informed and a sexuality oriented male or female in his puberty reacts possitively towards sex and sexuality and learns to believe in the relevance of the sacrament of marriage, good parental stability and parental responsibilities.

Parents should understand that sex education is viral to our goal of keeping our children away from premature sex, unwanted pregnancy, viral sex related diseases like HIV/ AIDS and sexual abuse.
