ISLAMABAD PAKISTAN : The death toll of the Marriott Hotel blast in Pakistan climbed up to 53 and additional 266 people were repoted injured. Speculations arises that Al-Qaida and Taliban are involved in this suicide boming incident.

Reports said a suicide bomber drove a lorry packed with explosives into the entrance of the hotel.Video released Sunday shows that security at the Islamabad Marriott succeeded in stopping a truck bomb at the hotel’s gate, but guards seemed confused about what to do next.

About three minutes elapsed between the dump truck crashing into a retractable metal barrier at the gate and the explosion that devastated the hotel. In that time, guards can be seen approaching the burning vehicle and then retreating, then returning, one with a fire extinguisher, before disappearing from the surveillance video, which ended, presumably, when the truck exploded.
